Historique :	Oeuvre anciennement datée de la fin du 13e siècle, ou du début du 14e siècle. Geoffroy de Loudun, évêque du Mans, est mort en 1255. Cette dalle provient de l'ancien couvent de la Chartreuse du Parc de Saint-Denis d'Orques, dont il était le fondateur. Elle fut apportée après la Révolution de 1793 dans l'ancienne église de Saint-Denis, où elle servit de table d'autel.
