Description :	Le cartel et son socle sont en bois recouvert d'écaille brune marquettée de cuivre gravé. De nombreux bronzes, primitivement dorés, garnissent le cartel et son socle. Le sommet est dominé par un grand vase de façade, surmonté d'une pomme de pin. Le cadran est un disque émaillé blanc. Une porte ronde en bronze protège le cadran. Une seconde porte ajourée en bronze est située sous la précédente et permet de mettre le balancier en mouvement. Sur les côtés, une fenêtre vitrée permet de voir le mouvement.
