Description :	Chaque retable est bordé par deux colonnes, peintes en faux marbre, portant des chapiteaux composites. Au centre un cadre rectangulaire mouluré ne contient pas ou plus de toile ancienne. L'entablement comporte deux avancées au-dessus des colonnes. Sous une rangée de denticules, le bandeau est orné de rinceaux de feuillages stylisés. Couronnement : une sorte de fronton, dont les arêtes formées de lignes courbes sont ornées de feuillages et de fleurs, présente un jeu de fond quadrillé avec des petites fleurs à quatre pétales. Dans l'axe, une console est ornée de feuilles d'acanthe. Celle de gauche (côté nord) porte une statue issue de l'art populaire.

Historique :	Selon le curé de Tuffé, la statue qui ornait le sommet du retable sud était une Vierge à l'Enfant en terre cuite qui a été prêtée pour une exposition au Mans, d'où elle ne serait pas revenue.
