Historique :	En 1877 Louis Debierre construit un orgue neuf pour le Collège des Jésuites du Mans. Il s’agit d’un instrument à deux claviers et pédale empruntée, comportant 15 jeux réels. En 1897, les facteurs belges Adrien et Salomon Van Bever restaurent l’instrument et y ajoutent trois jeux. En 1911 l’instrument est démonté avant d’être remonté en 1919 dans une chapelle provisoire du lycée Saint-Charles Sainte-Croix. Entre 1958 et 1959 le facteur Pierre Chéron reconstruit l’instrument dans la nouvelle chapelle, sans le buffet mais en réutilisant une grande partie de l’orgue Debierre.
