Historique :	Appartient à un ensemble de 17 portraits de famille avec leurs cadres qui représentent les ancêtres des actuels propriétaires. Ensemble qui est resté au sein de la même famille depuis le milieu du 18e siècle. Né en 1726, mort en 1806. Natif de Nantes, colonel du régiment de Bourgogne-Infanterie, le marquis de Liker a reçu la croix de l'ordre de Saint-Louis. Il épouse en 1766 Angélique de Sainte Hermine. Il est grand-père d'Anne Marie Emilie de Clinchamp. Il s'agit d'une copie réduite du portrait du marquis Edouard Jean de Luker peint en 1756 par Jean-Michel van Loo (1707-1771) conservé au musée des Beaux-Arts d'Orléans.

Précision_sur la representation :	Portrait en buste du marquis de Luker âgé d'une trentaine d'années. Le marquis est coiffé d'une perruque blanche à catogan serré par un ruban noir. Il porte une chemise blanche à jabot blanc en dentelles et une veste de velours rouge à gros boutons de même couleur.
